Built in Cape Town, South Africa, the Balance 502 is a next-generation performance cruiser. Engineered for speed with a Carbon Core in primary structures (bulkheads, beams, daggerboards, trunks, rudders) keeps her light and stiff, delivering lively acceleration and confident passagemaking.

The 502 carries Balance’s signature VersaHelm™, so you can steer in the open air or from the protected aft position with excellent four-corner visibility in either mode. This new model also introduces the VersaStern for smarter deck flow at the transoms. These small details make sailing and life aboard easier and more enjoyable in all weather.

The Balance 502 is equipped with three private double cabins, two are located forward in the port and starboard hulls, and one aft in the port hull. Every cabin has plenty of stowage, ample ventilation, and fantastic views.
Centrally located, the galley is at the heart of our sailing. It offers a four-burner induction stove, convection microwave oven, coffee maker, and a voluminous sink. We have lots of food storage in the double-stainless steel pull-out fridge and freezers. Great food makes for a happy crew!
Tiger Lily will be equipped with a 3.6m (12ft+) RIB (Rigid Inflatable Boat), coupled with a strong 25hp outboard to fuel your many adventures ashore.
