It’s one of the most debated questions in sailing, and the answer is never simple. After living aboard a monohull, a trimaran, and now a catamaran full-time, we’re sharing our honest take on what really changes at sea and at anchor and why, for world cruising, we believe catamarans are the better platform.

Our fourth trans-Atlantic passage is in-the-books. In this edition, we sailed amongst the ARC fleet, giving us an extra challenge for optimizing sail plans, weather routing, all while still catching a healthy load of fish!
